Kenneth Copeland — Confess Prosperity

June 1st, 2011 No comments

God created all things by the power of His Word. Each time God spoke, He released His own faith—which was the very creative power that brought His words to pass.

Words. They are spiritual containers that carry the power to shape our destiny. Our words contain and release our faith. But what is most exciting is that when we speak God’s words about our lives, we release the creative power of God’s faith into our situations.

When you speak the Word of God out of your mouth, it is as much the Word of God and has the same authority as when God personally said, “Let there be light” (Genesis 1:3).

I can’t tell you how many times we have found this to be true in our own lives. Any time we have attacked our lack in an area with God’s creative words of increase and abundance, provision was there for us—every time. And I want you to know, having God speak in your behalf makes a tremendous difference in the outcome. Circumstances are subject to change. God’s Word never changes.

Just as confession is made unto salvation, confession is also made unto prosperity or unto healing or unto whatever it is we need from God. By meditating on the Word, we become persuaded of God’s promises and confident in His willingness to perform those promises in our lives. That’s exactly what real faith is—being persuaded and confident that God will do for us just what He said He’d do.

So, every time we confess the Word of God from a heart that’s confident God will do in our lives what He said—according to Jesus in Mark 11:24—we shall have what we say.

Kenneth Copeland — No Natural Solutions

December 15th, 2010 2 comments

Yes, every choice. Such a thought would surprise most people. They have an idea that they’ll bring God in on the major problems in their lives but handle the other things fine without Him.

It’s kind of a personal version of the government’s “separation of church and state” theory. If you want to know how well that theory works, take a look at how the government is doing. It can’t pay its bills, can’t control crime, can’t keep its citizens healthy…you know the story.

The fact is, natural power can’t keep things from going downhill. No matter how many natural choices you try, nothing works. Here’s the reason. What we call the natural world is really “subnatural.” It is far below what God originally created it to be.

When God created the earth, things were perfect. There was a water canopy that covered it and filtered out ultraviolet light, among other things. The atmospheric pressure was greater; the oxygen level was higher. People lived an average of 12 times longer (see Genesis 2:6, 5, 7:10-11; 2 Peter 3:5-6).

But the effect of sin on the earth eventually caused that canopy to explode and flood the earth. Noah and his family were the only ones who survived.

The loss of that canopy dramatically damaged Earth’s atmosphere. Add to that damage the sin and destruction Satan has wrought and you’ll realize why you have a basic, fundamental need to choose the supernatural rather than the natural.

It’s necessary to your well-being in every area of life!

You were born into an atmosphere you weren’t created to live in. You face situations you weren’t created to handle. You constantly encounter problems to which there are no natural solutions.

To have abundant life on this death-bound planet, you’ll have to live a SUPERnatural lifestyle by making SUPERnatural choices every day of your life!

If you’ll do that, it won’t matter that this world is constantly bringing forth new kinds of danger and destruction—you can live on the Word of God in health, strength and victory for 120 years if you want (Genesis 6:3).

Instead of talking about getting old, you can talk the 103rd Psalm. Every morning when you get in the shower, you can get the washcloth in one hand, the soap in the other and start talking the Word. Stand under the water and say, “Praise God, He fills my mouth with good things so my youth is renewed like the eagle’s!”

Every time you do something like that, you’re making a supernatural choice. A choice to live by the Word rather than to die like the world.

Start now getting that Word into your heart. Start now letting the force of it and the anointing upon it direct your choices—big and small. Let God begin to lift you up to His way of thinking.

Then when the storms of life come, you’ll know what to do. Instead of just grabbing a bucket and starting to bail, faith will rise up within you and you’ll say, “Look here, storm. Peace, be still.”

It will work for you just as it would have worked for the disciples. After all, you have Jesus in your boat!

Kenneth Copeland — Covenant of Blood Part 6

September 20th, 2010 No comments

Kenneth and Gloria Copeland

Jesus has exchanged His weapons and armor with you and made you strong in the power of His might. He exchanged your weakness for His strength. Through a covenant relationship, you are now one with Him.

Jesus took your sin and gave you His robe of righteousness and right-standing with God. He has become so totally one with you that He has given you the authority to use His Name. “And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils” (Mark 16:17). The devil has no right to be interfering in your affairs.

The new covenant does not depend on your ability to keep it. It depends on Jesus’ ability to keep it. Just like Abraham…just like David…you have a covenant with Almighty God. Just like Abraham, you can become fully persuaded that what God has promised you, He is able also to perform. Just like David, you can stand on that covenant and whip any uncircumcised circumstance that stands in your way—no matter how big it looks.

But your covenant is better. It doesn’t carry a curse anymore. Right now read Deuteronomy 28:16-68 in your Bible. That’s a list of the curses Christ has freed you from. They include every diabolical thing the devil could ever use to destroy you. Read them and rejoice! Those are the things God has healed you of and delivered you from. Receive your deliverance. Jesus paid the price for it. He bore the curse. He became the covenant sacrifice for you, proving once and for all just how intensely He desires to love and to bless you. Let Him do it now. You’ll love Him all the more in return!

Kenneth Copeland — See Yourself as God Sees You Part 3

April 21st, 2010 No comments

Kenneth Copeland

You’re one with Him in the spirit, you have
the mind of Christ, you are bone of His bone,
so you might as well be attitude of His attitude!
His attitude is “Thy will be done in earth,
as it is in heaven.
” See yourself as God sees you.
One time the Lord showed me a vision of a
man holding a big banana. The man began to
peel the banana, and as he did, I saw that there
was no banana inside, but standing in the bottom
was a little man. That little man was me!
The Lord said, Son, that’s your attitude toward
yourself
. It was true. I presented a big front to
the world, but actually felt very small on the
inside. The Lord told me I needed to change
my whole attitude.

He began to show me from His Word what
it meant to be in Christ and to have Him in me.
I began to see that a born-again believer is a
limitless creature of God—an unlimited powerhouse
of the very life of God Himself!

You, too, need to change your attitude by
renewing your mind to the Word. Allow God
to reveal Himself to you and to give you this
winning attitude—this world-overcoming attitude—
in Jesus Christ.

Now that you see that God is not your
problem and that you have the very power
of God at your disposal to make you an
overcomer, you are in the position to be
more trouble than your troublemaker—
Satan—can handle! Now, you can put Satan
under your feet where he belongs.

Kenneth Copeland — Religion Is Failing, God Isn’t!

March 24th, 2010 Comments off

Kenneth and Gloria Copeland

Through the years, God has exercised His
faith for us. He has been willing to work for more
than 2,000 years to get His plan functioning
properly. The whole time the world lay in
darkness, God was still believing—still exercising
faith—not in just Himself, but in you and in me.

That we henceforth be no more children,
tossed to and fro, and carried about with
every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of
men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they
lie in wait to deceive; but speaking the truth
in love, may grow up into him in all things,
which is the head, even Christ: From whom
the whole body fitly joined together and
compacted by that which every joint supplieth…
(Ephesians 4:14-16).

It’s important to notice in this scripture the
Lord didn’t say He would hold the Body of Christ
together. He said He would join it together, but
that it would be held together, or compacted, by
that which every joint supplies. He had to believe
that you and I would supply what it took to hold
the Body together. We’ve failed and failed and
we’ve failed again, but God has kept on joining
and believing. He has never uttered words of
failure. Theology cries, “The Church is failing!”
God says, “My house will be full, and the gates of
hell will not prevail against it!” Religion is
failing—God isn’t! Can you see His attitude?

Look again at the verse, and you’ll see how
very important it is to the Body of Christ that you
develop a winning attitude: “…compacted by that
which every joint supplieth, according to the
effectual working in the measure of every part”
(verse 16). The Body of Christ depends on the
direct amount, or measure, that each joint
supplies. The amount you supply—the power
you supply—affects the entire plan of God.
Whether you supply some or much—affects the
entire Body of Christ.

Verse 16 says, “according to the effectual
working in the measure of every part, maketh
increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in
love.” Here again, you can see your importance as
an individual. God will not build up the Body.
The members (you and I) must build up each
other. Some are waiting for Jesus to return so the
Body will rise without spot or wrinkle at the
resurrection. But the Body of Christ is rising now,
and the Bible says He will present to Himself a
Body that is without spot or wrinkle. This will
happen as His Body edifies itself in love, growing
up into Him, and being washed by the water of
the Word.
